Entry#3 “A Memorable Journey”

My memorable journey was last December with my friends.as a Christmas present we wanted to go to 4 volcanoes in Nicaragua Volcano Cerro Negro, Volcano Masaya, Volcano Telica and Volcano El Hoyo, it is worth mentioning that we love hiking First we made the boarding in the province of Heredia then we had a journey of about 5 hours to reach Peñas Blancas to perform all immigration procedures. Then we had breakfast in the city of Rivas we took a break of about 1 hour and then we stayed at the Hotel Leon where we left all our belongings and went to the Restaurant La Merced and enjoyed a delicious lunch characterized by its Gallo Pinto, Quesillos, tamales we chose a soup made of corn with minced meat and onions was delicious, then we moved to the first volcano, the Telica Volcano to enjoy the sunset, it was beautiful and at the same time tired but it was worth it, The tour was 3 hours and then we went back to the hotel to change and leave at 12 midnight to the second volcano, Volcano El Hoyo, which was one of the most difficult in my experience, quite technical and advanced but we managed to climb and enjoy during the tour you could feel the humidity and the difficult terrain, also how complicated to be in a place so hot, and on returning from Volcano El Hoyo immediately we had to go to Volcano Cerro Negro where we expected a whole adventure called Sand boarding, which consisted of a very special adventure, which consists of sliding down the volcano on a board, an experience of a lot of adrenaline and danger, of a lot of care and courage, personally I enjoyed it a lot but there was a moment of tension as one of my friends fell off the table receiving a blow to her face and head leaving several scratches and a lot of pain but luckily nothing serious, it was a scare to see how my friend was spinning around until she reached the bottom that if you can say that it was a very painful arrival, and then it was an anecdote that fortunately can tell without an unfortunate ending. Finally the last place we visited was the Masaya Volcano National Park, Nicaragua, it was incredible because this volcano offers the opportunity of direct contact with the area of its crater, at night it was a wonderful spectacle because we could appreciate the lake of lava that can be seen from the edge of the crater. In conclusion we stayed 3 days, it was an incredible experience with my friends and I hope that soon we will have one more to tell.
